Top 5 Traffic Generating Techniques
Hey there,
The topic of today’s rant and rave is my top 5 traffic generating techniques.
My traffic methods are: (drum roll):
* Article Marketing * Content and SEO * Twitter Marketing * Forum Marketing * Video Marketing
I will write an article and submit it to the big 5. Ezinearticles, GoArticles, Sooper Articles, Article Dashboard and Article Base. I will submit it to Isnare and the Isnare distribution service as well. It will syndicate your content over a wide range of sites that are relevant to your article.
Content and SEO
I will write 1 to 3 new blog posts per day and categorize and tag them. I will write a Google Hot Trends post as well if it is relevant to my topic. I will also write or post a funny photo, video, etc. to the site, (more for just fun than anything else). I will do a daily ping and a Google Sitemaps submission once a day. I also use all the SEO plugins for Wordpress, which includs All-in-One and Google Sitemaps Generator.
Twitter Marketing
I will add 20 new followers per day related to my niche. I will tweet about a new blog post. I will tweet about my new products and services coming out. I am going to tweet about something I learned. I will retweet two things I find cool, insightful or valuable. I will message reply to someone who wrote something valuable, funny or useful.
Forum Marketing
I will post 3 to 5 posts per day in the four major forums in my niche. Mine are Warrior Forum (woot woot), V7N, Digital PointInternet and Marketing Forums. I will post in the hot threads no matter when I can. I will also post only RELEVANT content to the thread. No ‘me too’ or ‘here here’ or ‘i agree’ posts. Something that people will get value out of and actually be able to use. I will contribute to the conversation.
Video Marketing
I will make a new instructional video. I will do a new Rant and Rave. I will do a new article video. I will then post them to all the major Tube websites out there.
